Tech for Connectivity LIVE (aged 11 - 14)

Have your students ever wondered what the internet is and how we connect to it? What happens when we loose our WiFi signal and what does broadband actually mean? Could your students see themselves working in a future career helping everyone stay connected in the online world?

Join us on Wednesday 11th December at 2:00pm, when our Tech She Can Teacher, Katie, will deliver a virtual 45 minute Tech We Can LIVE lesson for students aged 11 - 14. This will be an interactive session where the children will be guided to complete paper based tasks and partner discussions - they therefore need to be based at a table with a piece of paper and pen/pencil.

Katie will highlight the history behind the internet and how technology is used to enable us to communicate online. She will also explore the many different ways we can connect to the internet. Throughout the lesson, Katie will highlight lots of related technology careers which students could pursue in the future.

The content is ideal in the classroom environment or from home. Simply complete the registration form to reserve your spot and we'll send you a link to join the live lesson.
