STACS is now Live

We are so excited to launch STACS, the new teacher-led initiative! We have been working closely with the STACS reference group to identify the needs of the teachers on the ground and has helped shaped STACS activities to support teachers delivering Computing Science so far.

The STACS reference group are an incredible team of leading Computing Science teachers as well as those who lead and are prominent figures around areas of education at school level within the Computing Science teacher community. This team will act as a reference group for the STACS project, helping steer and shape the direction of STACS and ensure our actions and priorities are in line with the needs of those who are teaching in the classroom.

STACS reference group consists of: Darren Brown, Sinead Flanigan, Fraser McKay, Sarah Lyon, Chris Aitken, Jackie Campbell, Bryan Irvine, Katie Gallagher,  Tony Harkins, Stephen Stewart, Craig Delaney, Peter Love, Charlie Love and Greg Reid. You can read more details about those involved in the team on our about us page.

STACS are hear to work with and support all teachers delivering Computing Science in Scotland and support where we can. Get in touch as often as you like or if you would like a chat, or to let us know your needs, wants and wishes and we will see what STACS can do to support you. You can contact us at support@stacs.scot as many times as you need us.

We look forward to working with all the teachers who are delivering Computing Science in Scotland to help advance Computing Science from a grassroots level and see the subject thrive in all secondary schools Scotland.
