Pupils will be introduced and explore basic HTML and CSS. They will apply their knowledge by completing coding challenges and using the knowledge they will develop over the lessons to create their own web design project.

Pupils will apply the knowledge that they have learnt with Web Design to a Hackathon style activity. This could be a single day activity for new S4 pupils at change of timetable where new S5/6 pupils are paired with groups to help support them and work with them throughout the day or could also be an activity done in class time.
